Living in an attic might be magical, but as soon as summer arrives, the harsh reality sets in. You can watch the beautiful sky from your bed, yet it may feel like lying in a sauna, because the sun is beating down directly through the roof windows. Shading, in this case, can do a great service, you just need to choose the right form.

Since 2019, when we presented our bestseller, the ARTOSI bioclimatic aluminium pergola, at Coneco Building Trade Fair in Bratislava, the whole system has undergone many improvements and various accessories were added to it, such as LED lighting, ALFA-ZIP and ALFA-ZIP PLUS screen roller shutters, and ARTOSI GLASS sliding panels. But now we are taking innovation to a whole new level by perfectly matching the pergola and a carport on the same property thanks to our new product on the market – the ARTOSI Carport.

The same scenario repeats every summer. The temperatures outside sometimes exceed 35 degrees Celsius, and you are racking your brains in vain trying to work out how not to feel like boiled chicken at home. Most of us instinctively open a window, but this is the worst idea, because more and more hot air is flowing into the room through the window. And even if you have a fan, you will find that the situation does not change much. So, you might think that the only way to solve this problem is with air conditioning.

We have launched the ARTOSI Bioclimatic Pergola in May 2019. Over time, we have received a number of suggestions from our business partners as well as you – our customers. We have therefore innovated the original design and function of the bioclimatic pergola and added further products like ARTOSI GLASS panels, ALFA and ALFA PLUS screen roller shutters to the box size 110 (the box size 150 is now in development). The structural design of the ARTOSI pergola provided a basis for a new product, the ARTOSI CARPORT.
