Best-Selling CETTA 80 and ZETTA 90 Blinds: How They Differ, and Which Exterior Blinds to Choose?
Cetta exterior blinds feature C-shaped slats, while Zetta blind slats are Z-shaped. The Cetta has a simple, pure design especially suitable for family houses; the Zetta offers a greater level of shading thanks to the slats interlocking. The stability of both types is increased by aluminium guide rails and both are very popular with customers. So, which is the right one for you? C or Z?

Which exterior blinds to choose

Exterior blinds will help you maintain a comfortable temperature inside the home, protect your house from intruders, and suppress outside noise. ISOTRA offers three types of slats: Cetta, Zetta, and Setta.

All shapes and widths (mm) of slats for ISOTRA exterior blinds:

Blind dimensions

The maximum width of the Cetta blinds is 80 mm, while the Zetta offers widths up to 90 mm. The widest version looks especially handsome on large windows. Should you prefer smaller slats closer to each other, the Cetta is also available in a 65 mm width and even a 50 mm width – this narrowest type can also be installed inside. The narrower type of the Zetta blinds is 70 mm.

CETTA 80

Control the blinds remotely, just like your TV!

ISOTRA exterior blinds do not need to be operated only manually. You can select electric controls for all types, either by a switch, or by remote control. Closing the blinds will be as easy as turning on the TV!

Cetta: the power of simplicity

The slats of the Cetta 80 are C-shaped and 80 mm wide. Their smooth, simple design will complement the look of most family houses. The Cetta even offers two solutions if you need to reduce the roll-up height – the Slim system packs the slat with alternating side overlap, while the Flexi system attains the reduced roll-up height by using slats without longitudinal bends.

CETTA 80

The Duo system allows different tilt of the slats in the upper and lower parts of the blind. It is ideal for office spaces or conference rooms.

You can choose from sixteen basic and six above-standard slats, and you can also adapt the colour of the box, guide rails, and lower profiles. Aluminium slats will provide wind stability. If safety is your concern, choose the Titan 90 blinds.

Asymmetrical windows, where the upper frame is not horizontal but inclined, can be shaded by the Cetta 80F TE sloped blind. This type only allows motorised controls.

Do you need your exterior blinds to provide the best possible shading? The Zetta 90 represents the peak of technological development and is ideal for those who appreciate technological sophistication and refinement, excellent shading, and rubber protection elements to reduce wind noise. The wide slats look great even on large surfaces and can be used on the windows of family houses as well as on office buildings. When closed, they form a compact surface that provides a high degree of shading. The basic and extra colours are the same as in the Cetta version. Thanks to the built-in rubber profile, Zetta exterior blinds offer reduced noise levels and in addition help protect the building from both overheating and heat loss. The maximum guaranteed area of the blind is 24 m2.

If you prioritise neat, yet purposeful design, the Setta 90 exterior blind is the right choice for you.

Less stuff, more space: Japanese inspiration for minimalism
Minimalist interior is not just about "having few things at home". It is mainly about the feeling of lightness, clarity and peace that your home gives you every day. When you don't have chaos around you, you breathe better, think better, rest better and work better. Japanese minimalism can be a great inspiration in this because it combines respect for space, light and natural materials with functional elements such as sliding panels, Japanese blinds and Japanese walls. In this article, we will therefore look at how Japanese-style minimalism can be transferred to a typical Czech apartment or house and how Japanese walls and other shading techniques can help you with this.
